Team Ultra meet with London Assembly Members!

Team Ultra were delighted to meet with Deputy Mayor of London for Business, Rajesh Agrawal, Leader of Brent Council, Mohammed Butt and Councillor Krupesh Hirani, Assembly Member for Harrow and Brent last Thursday 8th July at the Ultra headquarters, The Granville Centre in South Kilburn.

During the meeting, the team were able to share information about their various roles, past, present and exciting upcoming projects, as well as most importantly: the amazing impact and successes of our young entrepreneurs!

The London Assembly members showed a keen interest in Ultra Education’s work in teaching entrepreneurship; sharing interesting insights into their own personal journeys, as well as their thoughts on youth entrepreneurship in the UK.

Tweeting after the meeting, Rajesh said: “It’s never too early to be an entrepreneur! Great to visit @Ultra_Education who are doing excellent work to spark the ambition & train schoolchildren to become entrepreneurs. Well done @theultrapreneur Jules Hall, his team and the @Brent_Council for supporting them!”

A particular focus of the meeting was Ultra Education’s current ‘It Takes a Village’ project, which introduces entrepreneurship to young black Caribbean boys in Brent to improve academic attainment, confidence, behaviour and life skills.

Speaking after the meeting, Ultra’s CEO and Founder Julian ‘The Ultrapreneur’ Hall said: “It was fantastic to meet with Mohammed Butt, Rajesh Agrawal and Councillor Krupesh Hirani and hear their thoughts, insights and support for our work with young people. We believe that entrepreneurship is the greatest opportunity for young people today and are committed to continuing to grow our offerings and impact.”
