Councils

Some children find education a challenge which often leads to disengagement. This impacts their life chances and creates barriers to employment.

Ultra Education has solutions that have helped many such children find new confidence and aspirations, leading to positive re-engagement. We do this by introducing an imaginative and academically grounded set of interventions based on entrepreneurship which gives such children an alternative perspective and connects them with skills and aptitudes they had not been aware of.

We continue working with various teams and professionals across different Local Authorities such as the Virtual School, Accelerated Support, Family Solution, Fostering, and Youth Offending Services Teams, in using entrepreneurship to improve the life chances and opportunities open to children who have engaged in our various programmes.

What Our Clients Have Said

I am pleased to provide a reference for Keith, who has been an exceptional mentor for JH in Year 11. Keith's involvement has been extensive and impactful, showcasing his dedication and positive influence.
Keith has not only assisted JH in attending school but has also actively engaged him in extracurricular activities, such as taking him to the gym accompanying him to careers appointments, attending medical appointment and exploring the local College to name a few. This goes beyond the conventional mentorship role, illustrating Keith's commitment to JH's holistic development.
Furthermore, Keith has demonstrated effective communication and collaboration by liaising seamlessly with the school, JH's family, and Social Care. His ability to coordinate efforts among various stakeholders has contributed significantly to JH's overall support network.
Keith's positive can-do attitude, combined with a systematic approach, sets him apart as an excellent mentor. He has consistently shown the ability to bring out the best in people, including JH, through his encouragement and support.
In summary, I highly recommend Keith for his comprehensive and impactful mentorship, his positive attitude, and his effectiveness in collaborating with diverse stakeholders for the benefit of the student. All the best

As part of our Virtual School Team meeting, we have an agenda item which allows members of the team to give a 'Shout Out' to professionals they feel have either gone over and above for young people or they wish to commend for the approach they take to working with vulnerable children in general.
You received a 'Shout Out' from Claire for the support you have provided the vulnerable children you are currently working with. In Claire’s words, RH has been out-of-education for some time and has been disengaged from the professional network too. In recent weeks, Kusheema and RH have formed a close bond and last Friday, together they visited Pride Academy, where RH said to Kusheema that she could see herself attending. This is a brilliant breakthrough for RH and Kusheema has done a fantastic job of engaging her and keeping the network informed of the progress made. Thank you, Kusheema!
It is important to me and the Virtual School team collectively that this work is recognised and praised. Thank you for all that you are doing for our young people.

Keith has been an incredible support system to JM. JM can struggle with waking up in the morning and with motivation to engage, however, he is up on time, ready to leave the house upon Keith’s arrival. Keith has excellent communication skills and ensures that he receives a weekly, thorough handover from the team and tailors his support accordingly to the need. Keith has helped re-establish breakdowns in relationships and is assisting us with implementing core values and principles, to help shape JM’s mindset, future and behaviour. Keith is continuously encouraging JM to explore future aspirations and challenging any negative behaviours. We, as a team, highly value and appreciate Keith’s input and contributions.

Keith managed to build and maintain a strong relationship with J that contributed to improving family relationships, education outcomes and most importantly J's own understanding of his behaviours.
J has a huge amount of respect for Keith which is testament to Keith's skills and personable manner. I have observed changes in J's willingness to engage in conversation with us at home, as well as with other professionals, and this would not have been possible without Keith's input. I genuinely mean it when I say I Keith's input has been life changing.
It has been valuable to be able to have conversations with Keith personally, so he is aware of the impact on home life and challenges we have faced and how we can address this from J's perspective. I trusted him 100% and was confident that he shared information appropriately. Keith has been a huge support not just to J, but our family too.
We would have been lost without him!
