Guinness World Record title – Lauryn, That’s Me

We are proud to celebrate Lauryn, one of our Ultra Education kidpreneurs, who has officially received her first Guinness World Record title as an ambassador for Guinness World Records in partnership with World Afro Day.

Lauryn helped organise and participated in the largest cultural awareness online class within 24 hours, bringing together 1,382 participants on 15–16 September 2025. The event formed part of a global celebration of Afro hair, identity, and culture — amplifying education, representation, and pride on an international stage.

For Lauryn, this achievement represents more than a formal title. It reflects a commitment to visibility, cultural education, and honouring heritage. The initiative centred on affirming that Afro hair is not simply a style, but a powerful symbol of history, beauty, resistance, and identity.

The record is shared with every educator, participant, and advocate who contributed to the event — those who showed up, shared knowledge, and celebrated curls, coils, and crowns across borders. Lauryn was also proud to represent Cape Verde on the global stage, reinforcing the importance of diverse voices within international conversations on culture and identity.

At Ultra Education, we champion young people who combine enterprise with impact. Lauryn continues to demonstrate leadership beyond business — using her platform to drive awareness, inspire confidence, and contribute to meaningful cultural dialogue.

This milestone marks the beginning of an even greater legacy.

Ultra and Out 😉
