The 11th Youth Business Fair – A Day of Inspiration and Celebration

On November 24th, 2024, the Great Hall at Wembley Stadium was transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity, talent, and innovation for the 11th Youth Business Fair. The event was a resounding success, bringing together over 150 young entrepreneurs, their families, and an enthusiastic audience for a day of inspiration and celebration.

A Day Packed with Highlights

The day began with a magical storytelling session by Alim Kamara from Storie Storie, captivating young minds with African tales that sparked imagination and pride. The energy continued with musical performances by 18-year-old Joshua Nwafor, whose talent in playing multiple instruments turned the hall into a symphony of musical bliss. Adding to the rhythm of the day, DJ Zel kept the atmosphere upbeat, while a fashion show spotlighted the creative designs of our young entrepreneurs.

Support from Our Sponsors and Partners

The fair’s main sponsors, Sumer and Brent Council, not only generously supported the event but also attended in person to share exciting opportunities for young people in early careers. Their presence underscored the importance of nurturing talent and providing pathways to success.

We were also delighted to welcome Tameka Young from the National Association for Kidpreneurs, who, as always, brought her enthusiastic support to the event. This year, she introduced young exhibitors from the United States and their parents to the fair, adding a unique and enriching dimension to the day.

Showcasing Talent Across Categories

Our stallholders offered a dazzling array of products and services, from sweet treats like the award-winning cakes, cupcakes and brownies crafted by a junior bake-off winner 2022, to arts and crafts, jewelry, health and beauty products, toys and dolls, stationery, and even information technology services. Visitors were spoilt for choice with so many innovative and high-quality offerings.

Adding to the interactive experience, we had the YoungKingz podcast in action, a photobooth by Inflow, and a 360-degree booth by Slay My Experience to capture memories of the day.

Incredible Young Hosts

A special shoutout goes to our four young hosts, who not only managed the stage with confidence and professionalism but also balanced running their own stalls and serving customers. Their multitasking skills were nothing short of inspiring!

A Celebration of Collaboration

The event wouldn’t have been complete without the lively energy of attendees, who came to support the efforts of these young visionaries. From sweet treats that delighted taste buds to unique products and services that impressed everyone, the fair highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit of young people in full force.

Looking to the Future

The Youth Business Fair is not just a platform; it is a movement that nurtures, inspires, and celebrates the incredible talent of young people. The presence of influential guests like Cllr Ryan Hack, Councillor Muhammed Butt, and representatives from the Home Office and NHS further validates the impact of this event on our community and beyond.

As we look ahead, we are excited to continue growing this initiative, exploring new collaborations, and creating even more opportunities for young entrepreneurs to shine. Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and supported this year’s fair. A special thank you to Sumer, our main sponsor, and to all who made this day one to remember.
