Ultra is collaborating with Vivienne Westwood for exciting fashion programme!

Ultra Education is proud to collaborate with the renowned fashion house Vivienne Westwood, to launch ‘Diversity by Design’ – a unique mentorship programme for young people, introducing them to the fashion and design industry.

At Ultra Education our mission is to equip as many young people as possible with entrepreneurial skills and a good understanding of best business practices, to empower them to either start a business or access roles across a wide range of industries. To do this, we start with their passions and interests, then build the learning process around these.

It’s no surprise that many of the young people we work with express an interest in fashion.

If you’ve attended any of our Youth Business Fairs, you’ll have come across some of the diverse fashion companies started by our kidpreneurs.

As fashion is such a big interest area and can have a great influence on our young people, we have teamed up with an expert in the field, to help our young members develop skills and education in a field they are passionate about.

The London based, British design house, Vivienne Westwood, is one of the last independent global fashion companies in the world. At times thought provoking, this brand is about more than producing clothes and accessories. Westwood continues to capture the imagination and raise awareness of environmental and human rights issues. With a design record spanning over forty years, Vivienne Westwood is now recognised as a global brand – and Westwood herself as one of the most influential fashion designers and activists, in the world today.

Through this programme, young people will gain an opportunity to learn about the processes involved in running a fashion company from Vivienne Westwood employees across the business, take part in fashion workshops and gain mentorship from industry experts.
