π Five young minds. Five bold ideas. Β£450 in prize money won at one incredible Pitch Day! π
At Ultra Education, Julian Hall FRSA BCAe and our team believe the entrepreneurs of tomorrow deserve a stage today.
Thatβs exactly what we delivered – hosting our Pitch Day at KPMG, where five kidpreneurs stepped up to pitch their business ideas to a panel of five dragons and all five walked away with prize money to support their entrepreneurial journeys.
π₯ Winner: Lara Atta – Β£200
π₯ Runner-up: Nyla Whittick – Β£100
π Three participants – Β£50 each
What stood out wasnβt just the creativity. It was the thinking behind it:
π° Understanding costs and pricing
π Analysing the competition
π£ Crafting a strong marketing message
π Planning for growth and expansion
These are the same fundamentals every founder wrestles with – and these young entrepreneurs tackled them head-on, with confidence well beyond their years.
π Congratulations to our two winners: Lara Atta and Nyla Whittick – outstanding pitches and thoroughly deserved!
π And to all five kidpreneurs – thank you for showing us whatβs possible when young talent is given the mic.
π A huge thank you to our dragons: Denise Obsajsnik, Elsa Caleb., Jonathan Maguire FRSA, Nzube Ufodike, and Pat Reid, for your time, sharp questions, and generous mentorship.
π’ A special thank you to the KPMG UK team – Paula Rocque, Elisha Sempa, and Chau Woeste for their support in hosting the event and for encouraging young entrepreneurial talent alongside Ultra Education. Your support helped create a space where these young people could pitch, learn and grow with confidence.
Initiatives like this arenβt just feel-good moments – theyβre where future business leaders start building real-world skills, confidence and ambition.
And if today was anything to go by, the next generation is more than ready. π
Whoβs excited to see what these kidpreneurs build next? π
