Inspiring the Next Generation: Guest Session with Adrian Hawkes at Haringey Youth Business Bootcamp

This week marked a powerful moment in our Haringey Youth Business Bootcamp as we welcomed Adrian Hawkes (Founder & Director, Phoenix Community Care) for a special guest session.

At Ultra Education CIC, we believe that entrepreneurship is best learned through real experiences, real stories, and real people. Adrian brought exactly that.

Our young people had the opportunity to engage directly with someone who has built a business from the ground up, asking questions, exploring challenges, and gaining insight into what it truly means to be an entrepreneur.

What stood out most was the level of engagement. Young people weren’t passive listeners, they were actively connecting Adrian’s journey to their own business ideas, thinking critically, and building confidence in their own potential.

This is at the heart of what we do.

What is the Youth Business Bootcamp?

Our FREE 12-week programme in Haringey is designed to take young people from:

👉 Idea → Brand → Product → Launch

By the end of the programme, participants don’t just understand business – they leave with a real startup ready to go.

What young people learn:

  • Turning ideas into real businesses
  • Branding, pricing, and selling
  • Money skills: profit, costs, decision-making
  • Confidence, leadership, and pitching
  • How real entrepreneurs think and operate

What makes it different:

This is not a classroom.
It’s hands-on, practical, and interactive.

Young people learn by doing and are supported by mentors, guest speakers, and a safe, inspiring environment.
