Ultra are thrilled to showcase our work with young entrepreneurs in a video advertisement collaboration with Virgin Media and Liberty Global. The piece, shot in and around Ultra’s headquarters at The Granville in South Kilburn features two of our inspiring young entrepreneurs who highlight the importance of smartphone solutions, connectivity and mobile technology to promote their businesses.
Ultra Education Founder and CEO, Julian Hall speaking in the video states “I personally believe that entrepreneurship is the greatest opportunity for young people today” before going on to emphasise the importance of mobiles stating “For us, the mobile phone is the way in which we can get our education and our learning into the hands of our students.”
Ultra Education have worked with thousands of young people in schools and clubs to start their own business. This included helping 200 young people launch startups during the pandemic and subsequent lockdown.
The shift to remote working and online delivery was fully embraced by Ultra, with the team delivering several online bootcamps, creating the first-ever mobile kid’s entrepreneurship tuition app, as well as our first-ever youth online business fair.
Featured in the advertisement, 10 year-old chef Marcus, launched his business MJs Treats having attended Ultra’s online entrepreneurship bootcamp in summer 2020. He said “Ultra Education has gave me confidence to have my own business. I am doing Caribbean inspired treats to give people in Europe, the taste of the Caribbean.”
Also featured, Jasmine Redman an artist, designer and founder of Adventureville started her business with Ultra at just 9 years-old. She said “Ultra Education has taught me how I can turn anything that I’m really passionate about into a business.”
