On Tuesday 27th October, a group of Ultra Education’s amazing young entrepreneurs took part in an online roundtable discussion with executives from video conferencing software company Zoom.
Thirty, lucky young entrepreneurs aged between 7-24, were given the opportunity to present their businesses to the executives on the Zoom platform.
The young people were also given opportunities to ask questions about the company, Zoom’s business model and the company’s growth and future plans. It’s safe to say that the executives were impressed by our young people’s entrepreneurial spirit; with several of them generating sales of their products – in true kidpreneur fashion!
The young entrepreneurs discussed different ways Zoom has been or could be utilised to benefit their businesses. This is of course an important and ‘on topic’ consideration, taking into account the significant shift in the way we all communicate as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The entrepreneurs also outlined how they plan to grow their businesses in the future and how they can adapt to the changes in how business is conducted, which technologies like Zoom are at the forefront of.
