Ultra’s very own Maya Glitters made her TV debut this past week on the veteran BBC show Blue Peter! Multi-talented Maya; a fashionista, presenter and super blogger was featured as a sewing and fashion expert brought into judge a T-shirt making challenge between the show’s presenters.
Maya tasked presenters Adam and Lindsay with creating their very own T-Shirt from scratch and judged the winner. During the show Maya shared her passion for fashion and the benefits of making your own clothing in being environmentally responsible. Talking on the show she said “I think that if more people got into sewing it would help to reduce the effects of fast fashion.”
Maya is an amazing young entrepreneur and to say #TeamUltra are proud to see her progression is an understatement. Maya was a presenter for our first ever, ever, ever online business fair last summer, has been featured in numerous publications and runs her own fashion and lifestyle website www.MayaGlitters.com.
