Ultra are excited to introduce our new Parent Advisory Board

Recently, Ultra Education had the opportunity to hold a meeting with our Parent Advisory Board, which proved to be an incredibly valuable and productive session. This gathering served as a platform for parents to express their thoughts, concerns, and suggestions regarding our programs and services. The positive outcomes of this meeting were truly remarkable, leaving us inspired and eager to implement their feedback.

First and foremost, the meeting fostered a sense of collaboration and partnership between the organisation and the parents. It provided an open and supportive environment for parents to share their valuable insights and experiences. The diverse perspectives offered by the Parent Advisory Board members shed light on various aspects that we may have overlooked. Their feedback highlighted areas where we could enhance our services and better cater to the needs of the children and families we serve.

Parents shared that they enjoyed the youth business fairs and hoped that they could happen twice a year, once in the summer and once in the winter. They wished for more opportunities for parents and young people to get to know each other outside of event days. Parents further expressed the value that they received from the WhatsApp group as a platform to share their children’s progress, gain support, give and receive advice and guidance on various topics and access opportunities for children and families across boroughs.

Our parents further expressed how they valued the trips that we took young people on which our young entrepreneurs have shared that they learn more during these trips than they do in a school day. We recently took some of our young entrepreneurs to the PwC London Bridge offices, which was in response to feedback given about increased opportunities to access inspirational spaces. The young entrepreneurs were able to spend time with their peers and other professionals at PwC’s  Business Data and Technology Insight Day.

We understand the importance of incorporating their suggestions into our programs and services and are currently working hard to implement the feedback received from the Parent Advisory Board. By doing so, we aim to enhance the overall experience and impact we have on the lives of the children and families we support. We will continue to carefully analyse the feedback, identify actionable items, and develop an implementation plan.

The success of the recent meeting with the Parent Advisory Board has further strengthened our commitment to ongoing communication and collaboration with parents. Through this partnership, we are confident that we can create an environment that fosters growth, learning, and well-being for all those involved.
